Just artwork; No interviews

Dark Souls III: Design Works is a nice art book with lots of large, high quality concept art from the game. There are a handful of pieces from each area, each enemy, each boss, each weapon, etc. What's missing is accompanying text and interviews! Previous Dark Souls Design Works books had long interviews with key staff who worked on the games and provided fascinating insight into their development. This one has none of that. Other than the name of each area/boss/etc., there's virtually no other text, which is a real disappointment. If you just want to see some art, this book is great. But if you want more than that - if you enjoyed the deeper look into Dark Souls development provided by the first two Design Works books - this book will be a big letdown.

Great artwork

Great artwork and design book. Has everything from the base DS3 all the way through both DLC's. Sadly poor packaging struck again. The spine on the book was bent and crinkled. Some pages were warped.

Another Great Book By Design Works!

This Dark Souls 3 Design Works art book is the biggest one yet. It is filled with concept art of locations, bosses, and weapons. The paper quality they used is excellent. Highly recommended for fans of Dark Souls.

Great Book!

The image that Amazon has for this product makes the book look like a yellowish tan. It is not, it is gold, which pleasantly surprised me. The book didn't come with any additional text describing the artwork, and how the artists decided on the finished product. It also didn't come with any early sketches of the bosses, just the finished painting of the designs. Would've preferred some concept art and early sketches of the bosses. But overall amazing artwork, would highly recommend for a Dark Souls fan like myself.

Wow!

I was pleasantly surprised by the volume of this tome and how much content it has. It's the biggest of the trilogy of Dark Souls Design Works!

Quality book for collectors

Sad that none of the other Dark souls design works have featured interviews with the developers like the first did, but this is still a great book that features a lot of amazing concept art.

beat up inside and out but it will do

there were some dirt and creases inside in some of the pages which made me wonder if this was really brandnew. the outside had some dents on it. probably better to get the book from the store if you can. content-wise, its about what youd expect. concept art and such. i would prefer if it had some developer notes though. if you get the japanese version of this book it probably wont even make much of a difference since all the text is just the names of whats in the illustration

Good for kids but real collector would be disappointed

The photos themselves are nice quality but the cover and binding of book are so low quality as to nearly ruin the whole thing.

Great gift for your goth

I bought this for a birthday gift for a friend ( I know absolutely nothing about this series or anything about it other than it’s spooky scary skeleton season) but my friend has really enjoyed owning it! They’ve informed me the color quality is nice and that it’s beautiful and inspiring art! So if you are a fan of the series/ are like me and only friends with goths it’ll make a nice gift

Worth the price...you died!

Beautiful crafted book. Images are superb and great for truly absorbing the world of Dark Souls. Eve. If your not into rpg it is great for those who love Lord of the rings or similar genre.
